  1. A first conversation

    With Jean Mascla, our founder, or the property hunter who speaks your language: your clientele, your expectations, the terms of the referral.

  2. The agreement

    A written referral agreement sets the fee, when it is paid and our mutual commitments, before any introduction.

  3. The introduction

    With your client’s consent, through the form on this page, by email or on a three-way call. We contact them within one business day.

  4. The search, then the deed

    You are informed at the key stages. When the notarial deed is signed, your referral fee is paid, as set out in your agreement.

Founded in Paris in 2011, Home Select represents buyers only: no commission is ever taken from the seller. More than 1,200 buyers have entrusted us with their search, 30% of them expatriates, and the same method now runs searches across France, backed by a network of 15,000 professional partners.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions as a referral partner

How is a referral paid?

Every client you introduce who buys with Home Select gives rise to a referral fee, paid when the notarial deed is signed. Its terms are set in a written agreement, signed before your first introduction, and we go through them with you in our first conversation.

Will my client pay more?

No. Your fee comes out of our own fees. Your client pays Home Select’s published fees, on success, no more and no less than if they had come to us directly.

Who can become a referral partner?

Professionals whose clients buy in France: real estate agencies abroad, wealth managers, private banks, family offices, relocation firms, accountants. Some professions, such as lawyers and notaries, cannot receive a referral fee: with them, the relationship stays reciprocal. The agreement adapts to your situation, and a foreign agency is paid as a company.

Will my client know you come through me?

Yes, and that is deliberate. We work in the open: your client knows who introduced us, and you remain their trusted adviser.

How is my introduction protected?

In writing. The agreement attributes a client to the partner who introduced them first, and every introduction we receive is confirmed to you by email, with its date.

Which projects do you handle?

Main homes, second homes, investment, pied-à-terre: from a fine apartment to the most confidential property, in Paris and across France. Our fees are published and paid on success.

Do you work with clients who live abroad?

It is an essential part of our work: 30% of our clients are expatriates. Video brief, remote shortlisting and viewings, negotiation led on their behalf: they only travel for the properties worth it.

Which languages do you work in?

Our team works in French, English, Farsi, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Your client is followed by a property hunter who speaks their language.

Is there a minimum volume or an exclusivity?

Neither. You introduce a client whenever you see fit, with no volume commitment, and you remain free to work with whomever you wish.
